To look for ideas for the front cover of my magazine, I looked at two specific musical magazines that I would want to read. I looked at Q magazine and NME magazine. The reason I liked them was that they stuck out to me. They are not over the top and stick to simple things, like the same fonts and colour themes. The titles are both prominent and are to the left hand side, the pictures in full view and who they are labelled under neath. They also stuck out to me as I like the artists on the front of the magazine, and although they are from completely different genres it doesn't seem to matter. Even though there might be one type of genre on the front it doesn't mean that the magazine has to stick to it throughout which I think is a good idea.
